100 Best of the Best DotA Fan Arts

My previous post about digital paintings was almost 1 year ago on 44 Stunning Digital Paintings.

There is one gaming community that has always been creating amazing digital paintings for a game known as Defence of the Ancients (DotA). For those who have not heard of this game before, here is a short description from Wikipedia:

“Defense of the Ancients (DotA) is a custom scenario for the real-time strategy video game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the ‘Aeon of Strife’ map for StarCraft. The objective of the scenario is for each team to destroy the opponents’ Ancients, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called ‘creeps’. As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.”

You cannot find an official logo or artworks for DotA because it is not really a ‘game’ but a custom map made by players themselves to play on top of Warcraft III from Blizzard. The list that I have compiled here are 100 most high quality fan arts created by DotA-lovers.
