We seldom see collections of game websites in CSS-showcases or other website directories such as the FWA. Probably one of the reasons is some game websites are built fully in Flash that loads long enough to put you to sleep.
However those sites with a combination of Flash and HTML/CSS present a good balance between being visually impressive according to game industry standards, yet also allowing usual blog activities such as developer blogs, podcasts, news updates, releases of new features etc. The article ends with a showcase of some beautiful examples of Korean game site designs.

FlyFF (Fly For Fun) has to be the most improved website in terms of layout and design over time. I’ve played the game back in 2005/2006 for about a year and during that time the website design wasn’t all that great. I’m really impressed with what they’ve done recently.
Your templates are really superb… They represented the virtual world… I love these…………
Hi, I love the design of game websites because it gets the user to the fantastic virtual world.
I didn’t knew any of these korean websites so i’m amazed by their design.
Well, I think they are beautiful…
However, I am so minimalistic that I feel fight with clutter on them all around. I am seeing these companies hiring a lot of Information Architects in the near future, because they have to handle too much information on too few pages.
And, without a doubt, the Asians are fantastic for 3d an graphics rendering.
I like Castle of Heroes one thumbup.
simply amazing post..thanks dude…
