Jumpology, founded by Philippe Halsman (1906-1979), is a form of photography taken when the person is jumping. Halsman liked to refer to it as, saying, “when you ask a person to jump, his attention is mostly directed towards the act of jumping and the mask falls so that the real person appears”. Interesting description isn’t it? I enjoy seeing these photographs due to the happy expressions on the faces. Hope you will enjoy the selections below.
